Moving on to the ever so present...

On Sunday June 27th, I attended Pride in Seattle with a group of about 20 or so friends. The parade was fun and the weather was perfect, but as soon as the group moved to the Seattle Center, it truly became a sight to see and a story to tell. Hours of dancing to special mixes by local DJ's, tons of information and food booths, Comedy and sketches by local queer artists, and hours of enjoyment as people from all over ran in and around the fountain. Some were dressed in costumes, others were barely dressed at all. In the end, if you like people watching and just having a great time with friends who are celebrating part of their identity, it's a great place to go and just be yourself for days.
